This very short lecture consists of two parts: the first part (15 minutes) is a basic introduction to radiowaves and RF signals, with definitions and terminology (frequency, wavelength, phase, amplitude, power, interference, modulation). The second part (15 minutes) presents the concept of RF power measurement and the use of a power meter and a spectrum analyzer, with focus on cheap equipment.
