Radio Propagation and Link Budget

This slideshow was presented at AfNOG 2009, in Cairo (Egypt).

It is a brief introduction to radiopropagation (behavior of radiowaves, effects of the environment, line of sight, Fresnel zone) and to link budget calculation (link planning, power budget, sensitivity and gain, losses, software tools).
